Polar Care Lead / Platform Engineer Consultant

I started my career in software development over a decade ago, and over the years I’ve moved deeper into cloud, platform engineering and DevOps. Today, I work as a cloud and platform engineering consultant, helping teams build and operate reliable systems, infrastructure and developer platforms.

At Polar Squad, my role goes beyond client work. I work hands-on with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD and DevOps, while also acting as our Polar Care Lead. In that role, I help support our people, develop our approach to growth and feedback, and work with our Polar Care leads to make sure people have the support they need to grow.

I’m also involved in recruitment, mentoring and shaping how we work and develop as a company.

I enjoy solving difficult technical problems, but I’m just as interested in the people and teams behind them. For me, good engineering is not only about choosing the right technology, it’s about creating environments where people can take ownership, learn, challenge ideas and do their best work.

I’m a strong believer in DevOps culture, continuous improvement, and staying uncomfortable enough to keep learning.
